CAKE OF THE MONTH – MARCH 2008

 

 

Fondant Drapes

 

This 3-tiered cake is covered with white buttercream icing.  Fondant drapes dusted with super pearl dust and molded fondant swags decorate this creation.

 

The bottom “George” borders are accented with strands of white pearls.

 

Gumpaste roses, calla lilies and fantasy flowers are placed at the points where the drapes and swags are attached to the cake.  A molded fondant medallion dusted with super pearl dust completes the design.
