Matt & April Sevde’s Wedding Cake

July 14th, 2006

 

This 5-tiered wedding cake was covered with white buttercream and smoothed to resemble faux fondant.  The “George” border was bordered on either side with a strand of white pearls.  Royal icing purple violets and lavender blossoms accented the borders.

 

The flavors of the cakes were Pink Champagne with Red Raspberry filling; Kahlua Chocolate with Bavarian Cream filling; Tequila Rose with Strawberry Cream filling and Classic White  with buttercream filling.

 

Arrangements of fresh lavender daisies and greenery adorned the top of each tier.

 

The cake was designed to serve 200 guests.
