CAKE OF THE MONTH – DECEMBER 2004

 

 

A CHRISTMAS CANDLE

 

This Christmas candle was made by stacking two 6-inch and one 6-inch contour on the top.

The cake was then covered with white buttercream icing.  Thinned buttercream was drizzled over the top to resemble melted wax flowing down the sides of the candle.

The trees and snowflakes were cut from gumpaste, dusted with super pearl dust and steamed.

The flame was formed using red and yellow gumdrop candy.
