CAKE OF THE MONTH – FEB. 2009

Cascade of Roses for Peggy
The three
tiers are covered with white buttercream. The borders are piped with tip 129
and accented with white pearls.
The rose
cascade is designed using hot pink and peach roses with baby’s breath.
I attached
floral foam to a plastic lid to arrange the top spray of roses. I slipped
some of the rose stems into plastic straws and wrapped some rose stems with
plastic wrap before inserting them into the cake.
The tier
sizes were 8, 10 and 14 inch squares.
