CAKE OF THE MONTH – MARCH 2006

 

 

TEQUILA ROSE

 

This four-tiered tequila rose cake with strawberry filling was covered with white buttercream.  Fondant lace, dusted with super pearl dust,  decorated the sides of the cake.  The bottom extended border was bordered on either side with strands of white pearls.  Fresh floral arrangements of red roses and fern adorned the top of each tier.

 

This cake was decorated for a Bridal Show.  I introduced a new flavor, tequila rose.  Following the Bridal Style Show, I served the cake to the guests attending the show.
