HEART
SHADOW BOX
This is a 9-inch heart
cake mounted on a 12-inch foil-covered board.
I used the “George” borders. The
bottom border is accented with Royal blossom flowers and the top border is
accented with white pearls.

how to make a heart shadow box at the
A larger heart and a
smaller heart are cut from gumpaste, dusted with super pearl dust and
steamed. Another smaller heart is cut
from gumpaste which is about an inch or two thick and placed between the two
larger hearts to create a space between them to give the effect of a shadow
box. I then placed a fondant molded lace
heart dusted with super pearl dust on the top heart for decoration.
