EMMA’S BAPTISM CAKE

 

Emma’s cake is a 12” Pink Champagne cake covered and filled with white buttercream icing.  The extended borders are piped with tip 140.  Molded roses and leaves accent the bottom border. The flowers and leaves are molded from tinted fondant with tylose added, dusted with luster dusts and steamed to enhance the colors.  The cross is molded from candy coating and dusted with super pearl dust.  The plaque is cut from colored gumpaste.  The script is also cut from colored gumpaste.  Blue tinted piping gel was added to the plastic baptismal font to resemble water.  Scrolls piped with tip 16 were added around the baptismal font to complete the design.
