John & Tiffany's Wedding Cake – September 24, 2005

This five-tiered cake featured flavors of carrot cake and strawberry cream cake filled and covered with cream cheese icing; flavors of pink champagne with red raspberry filling and white with strawberry filling covered with buttercream and smoothed to resemble the look of fondant. The cake was designed to serve 300 guests.

 

Each tier featured an extended bottom border created with tips 129, 140 and 225 bordered on either side with a strand of white pearls.

 

Floral arrangements of fresh white moth orchids, red sweetheart roses and greenery adorned the top of each tier.  Floral lights were placed in the arrangements to give the cake more presence during the candlelight dinner.
