Today, there are so many mediums one can use in cake decorating.  One can make gumpaste flower arrangements, pipe flowers with buttercream or Royal icing, mold decorative pieces with candy coating or chocolate, make figures using gumpaste, fondant, etc., etc.  In this section, I share how I was taught and/or learned to pipe lilacs, color gumpaste flowers, use molds to make chocolate decorations and how I make my ghosts for Halloween cakes.  Hopefully, this will help to give you some new ideas in designing and creating your own cakes for special occasions.
